The space of Hanoi National University (Hoa Lac) on July days became more exciting with the steady shouts and the synchronized footsteps of thousands of officers and soldiers participating in the training.
The temperature outside sometimes exceeded 40 degrees Celsius, the heat radiating from the concrete floor made many people sweat, but no one slowed down or left the line. Everyone practiced diligently, ready for the national parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
This grand ceremony will take place at 6:30 a.m. on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square and several central streets in Hanoi. According to the plan, about 30,000 people will attend, not including the forces participating in the parade.
The People's Public Security force mobilized more than 3,200 students and soldiers from various units, divided into many training groups such as Mobile Police, Traffic Police, People's Security, and United Nations Peacekeeping Police.
Among thousands of people walking steadily under the harsh summer sun, the female special police officers stand out with their slim figures, decisive demeanor, determined eyes and strict discipline.
The female soldiers practiced in special forces uniforms, sweat rolling down their cheeks, but the formation remained neat, each step decisive, each movement precise.
“Every day, we practice from 6am until late afternoon. Many days the sun burns our skin and we are exhausted, but no one gives up. Every step, every arm swing must be as smooth as a hundred people, not only for our personal honor but also for the special forces uniform we wear,” a female special forces police officer shared.
The special forces uniform was soaked with sweat, the back of the shirt was wet, but each step and movement of the female soldier was steady and serious.
Not only the female special forces soldiers, at Hoa Lac, other groups are also rushing to complete each movement, each step of the parade. In the photo is the group of male officers of the United Nations Peacekeeping Police.
In a corner of the training ground, a group of Fire Prevention and Fighting officers practice walking in a quick and agile manner - typical of emergency response forces.
Their faces were sunburned and their shirts were soaked, but every step they took was filled with determination.

Under the scorching summer sun, the spirit of the People's Public Security force remains steadfast and resilient.
No one is negligent even half a step, because ahead of them is a sacred mission - to walk across Ba Dinh Square in the eyes of thousands of people, to the majestic music echoing in the middle of the country's independence day.
To prepare for the celebration, parade, and march, there will be a preliminary rehearsal at 9:00 p.m. on August 27, 2025 (reserve for August 28); a general rehearsal at 7:00 a.m. on August 30, 2025 (reserve for August 31). On the evening of September 2, Hanoi will organize fireworks displays at 5 locations, including: Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium, and West Lake, in the form of traditional and artistic fireworks.
