How to receive 2/9 gifts via bank account

For people with bank accounts, to receive this money, people can link their accounts to receive social security payments according to the Party and State's policies on the VNeID application. On August 28, many banks sent customers instructions on the links.

Accordingly, people need to log in to their VNeID account and select "Social Security". Then, select "Social Security Account".

Next, people choose the bank they are using from the list of banks. Enter the bank account number and choose to agree to share data.

Confirm successful request and wait for result from VNeID.

Currently, many commercial banks have connected customers' payment accounts on VNeID such as Vietcombank, Agribank , Vietinbank, Sacombank, MBBank, Nam A Bank... and are continuing to expand the list of linked banks.

For example, for customers using VietinBank cards, just log in to VNeID, select "Social Security" and then select "Social Security Account". Then select VietinBank, enter the bank account number and click agree to share data. Finally, send the request successfully and receive confirmation results from VneID.

For customers who already have an account at Vietcombank and the VNeID application, simply open the VNeID application on your phone, go to "Social Security". Select "Social Security Account", select "Vietcombank" and enter the account number to link.

For customers who already have VNeID but do not have a Vietcombank account, they can download the VCB Digibank application and select "Open account/Register for VCB Digibank". After having an account, follow the instructions above.

BIDV Bank also sent similar instructions to customers. If you want to receive social security payments using a bank account on VNeID, log in to the VNeID app, select "Social Security", select "Social Security Account". Then select BIDV, enter the BIDV bank account number, click Continue. Check the information, click Continue and wait for confirmation results from VneID.

At the private banking group, MB guides customers to link by opening the VNeID application, logging in as usual. Then select "Social Security", go to "Social Security Account". Then select MBBank. Check personal information and MBBank account number again and click confirm.

Other private commercial banks such as Sacombank, TPBank… have also announced instructions on the steps to receive social security payments using bank accounts on VNeID. The basic steps are similar to the instructions above.

How to receive 2/9 gifts without a bank account

People who do not have a bank account can still receive the gift on the occasion of September 2 by opening a bank account at a branch or opening it on a banking application (download the banking application to your phone and select to open a new account). After that, people can return to VNeID to update their social security account.

In addition, in case of not having a bank account (nor opening a new account), people can receive directly.

At the request of the Prime Minister, the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities will direct relevant agencies and units in the area to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Finance, and the State Bank to organize timely and safe delivery of gifts to people, ensuring progress as required.
