Da Nang city statistics show that in August and the first eight months of 2025, Da Nang tourism continued to recover positively thanks to a series of large-scale cultural, sports and entertainment events and effectively implemented stimulus programs.

These activities attract a large number of domestic and foreign tourists, contributing to boosting revenue from accommodation, food, travel and tourism support services.

In addition, satellite destinations such as Hoi An and My Son have also increased their appeal with the combination of cultural and historical values ​​and modern experiences, from marine sports, ecology to resorts and cuisine . Thanks to that, the number of international and domestic visitors has maintained a stable growth rate.

Revenue from accommodation and catering services in August 2025 is estimated at VND 5,094 billion, down 2.4% compared to the previous month but up 23.6% over the same period in 2024.

Of which, revenue from accommodation services reached VND 1,967 billion, down 3.6% compared to the previous month but still up 20.8% over the same period; revenue from food and beverage services reached VND 3,128 billion, down 1.7% compared to the previous month but up 25.4% over the same period in 2024.

In the first eight months of 2025, revenue from accommodation and catering services is estimated at VND 36,345 billion, accounting for 21.6% of total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue, up 25.4% over the same period in 2024. Of which, revenue from accommodation services reached VND 13,361 billion (+31.7%), and catering services reached VND 22,984 billion (+22.1%).

The total number of visitors served by accommodation establishments in August 2025 is estimated at 1.972 million, down 5.0% compared to the previous month but up 26.3% compared to the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors reached 671 thousand (up 22.0% over the same period), domestic visitors reached 1.301 million (up 28.6% over the same period in 2024).

In the first eight months of 2025, revenue from this activity is estimated at VND 3,222 billion, accounting for 1.9% of total retail sales and consumer services, up 19.1% over the same period in 2024.

The number of tourists on tours served by travel agencies in August 2025 is estimated at 185.7 thousand, down 7.8% compared to the previous month but still up 18.7% compared to the same period last year. Of which, international visitors reached 45.1 thousand, down slightly by 4.6% compared to the previous month but up 6.1% compared to the same period in 2024; domestic visitors reached 126.4 thousand, down 9.4% compared to the previous month but up 39.9% compared to the same period in 2024.

In the first eight months of 2025, the number of tourists traveling by tour reached 1.16 million, an increase of 27.7% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors increased by 22% and domestic visitors increased by 37.5%.
