Korea and Italy explode on the final night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival qualifying round

On the evening of June 28, the competition with the theme "Technology leads the way" between the rookie team Faseecom from Korea and the team Martarello Group SRL - the "giant" of the Italian fireworks industry, concluded the DIFF 2025 qualifying round after 4 nights of top competition.

Although the weather was not really supportive with occasional light rain, the two Korean and Italian teams still brought impressive, classy light shows to the sky of Da Nang.

A surprising new breeze from Korea

Participating for the first time at DIFF, Faseecom team (Korea) is expected to bring a breath of fresh air with a modern performance, integrating technology and creativity, continuing the new and impressive wave that this year's rookies have shown in the sky of the Han River.

With the desire to create a unique identity for modern fireworks, Faseecom brings to DIFF 2025 a performance called "Flying Dragon Dance". Inspired by the image of the dragon, a meaningful cultural symbol of East Asian countries and the image of Da Nang's brand bridge, the Korean fireworks team will stage a cinematic light work.

The performance consists of 5 chapters, depicting in turn: the birth of the Dragon, the journey of growth of the city on the Han River, modern vitality, future aspirations and ending with a brilliant song of light - as a wish for a Da Nang to break through and reach out to the world .

A representative of the Korean team shared: "We are not just creating a fireworks display, but a comprehensive visual and auditory experience. Faseecom will take the audience through a journey of emotions, fireworks not only bloom, but also tell stories and touch hearts."

"Giant" from Italy

Faseecom's rival is Martarello Group SRL, known as the "giant" of the fireworks industry from Italy. This is the most successful team at DIFF, having twice stepped onto the championship podium in 2017 and 2018, won the runner-up position in 2023, and won the audience the title of "Most Favorite Team" at DIFF 2024.

This year, the Martarello Group SRL team brings the work "Harmony of Light - Opening the Future", inspired by the strong transformation journey of Da Nang in the new era.

Opening with a brilliant sunrise - a symbol of the beginning, the performance took the audience through colorful waves symbolizing the vitality, energy and aspiration of the city on the Han River. The climax was a series of synchronized effects combining fireworks and music , ending with a brilliant finale as an affirmation of a breakthrough era.

The Italian team captain said DIFF is a special stage and they feel honored to continue to return to conquer the audience here.
