The pickleball tournament "Dan Tri 20 years - Bright new days" took place on July 5 and 6 in Hanoi , gathering 574 athletes participating in 505 matches. The organizers said that all fees collected from athletes (at 500,000 VND/person) will not be used to cover the organization costs but will be used to support the construction of 5 Charity houses, helping 5 households with especially difficult circumstances in Cao Bang.

Le Bach Hop and her teammate Phan Nhung made many people admire them after they won the women's doubles 5.0 championship at the Dan Tri newspaper pickleball tournament held on July 6 in Hanoi.

Throughout their journey to conquer the throne, this couple showed that they were "out of their element" when they did not encounter any difficulties against their opponents. Even in the final match, against the young athletes Vu Ngoc Diem and Vu Thu Hang, the couple Bach Hop and Phan Nhung won with a score difference of 15-9.

Congratulations to Bach Hop for winning the 5.0 championship at the Dan Tri pickleball tournament. How do you feel now after the victory?

- Our goal when participating in the tournament is to stand on the podium, not just to interact and compete like many other athletes. We know that at level 5.0, we are not afraid to face any opponent.

As long as we keep a "cool head", the necessary calmness and confidence, we will do what we need. That has been shown in practice, as evidenced by the fact that in the final match we encountered some difficulties in the first half of the game but then knew how to overcome and win.

This victory brings us great joy. The efforts of both of us have finally paid off as expected.

The pickleball tournament "Dan Tri 20 years - Bright new day" gathered many excellent athletes. Can you reveal the secret to defeating all opponents and winning the championship?

- As I said, only calmness and confidence can lead to victory. Thanks to calmness and confidence, we know how to exploit the opponent's weaknesses and maximize our strengths. And in each match, we always know how to encourage each other and support each other to overcome the opponent.

Perhaps you have attended many pickleball tournaments, how do you rate the tournament organized by Dan Tri newspaper?

- The tournament was organized very professionally. This tournament shows the dedication of the organizing committee, from supporting athletes with health check-ups, logistics, applying modern VAR technology, insurance for athletes to very responsive communication.

After the competition, the athletes will have their photos published in the newspaper. The scores of the matches are updated very quickly, making it convenient to follow. This tournament has a very large number of athletes participating, but during the two days of competition, there was almost nothing to criticize.

Pickleball is a sport that is considered new to many people, but it is considered an easy sport to play. What do you think about this?

- It is easy for beginners to play, as they can easily get the ball over the net and have fun playing with their partners. The important thing is that playing this sport also helps players sweat very well, very suitable for those who aim to play sports to have fun and lose weight.

However, to reach a high level in pickleball is not easy. In addition to natural talent, athletes must practice hard and make efforts every day. I was lucky to come from a tennis background, so when I switched to playing this sport, it was easier than many people. However, to play at a high level, you need to practice hard, be willing to compete in many tournaments to hone your competitive spirit and improve your technique.

You are considered by many to be a beautiful and attractive athlete in real life, but you compete very passionately on the field. Is sports your passion?

- I have loved playing sports since I was a child. Sports are an endless passion for me. When competing, I always have high determination and try my best to achieve my goals.

If you were to comment on yourself in real life, what would you say about yourself?

- I am a girl who loves sports. I always carry positive energy in me and want to inspire people around me and my friends and relatives.
