At the Galaxy Unpacked event held on the evening of July 9 (Vietnam time), Samsung surprised everyone by introducing for the first time three different foldable screen smartphones at the same time, marking a new step in the company's product strategy.
Galaxy Z Fold7: Reduced thickness, upgraded screen and camera

The Galaxy Z Fold7's design hasn't changed much from its predecessor, but its thickness has been reduced to 8.9mm when folded and 4.2mm when opened. It weighs 215g, lighter than some high-end phones currently on the market. The screen bezel is thinner, the frame is square.
The outer screen size increases to 6.5 inches, the inner screen reaches 8 inches. Both use Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels, maximum brightness of 2,600 nits, scan frequency of 1-120Hz.
The device uses Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, optional RAM 12GB or 16GB, storage capacity from 256GB to 1TB. Battery capacity 4,400mAh, supports 25W fast charging.
The main camera has a resolution of 200 megapixels, along with a 12 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10 megapixel telephoto camera, 3x optical zoom. The device has two 10 megapixel selfie cameras, no longer using under-screen technology as before.
The device meets IPX8 water resistance standards. However, the Galaxy Z Fold7 no longer supports the S Pen due to changes in the screen structure.
Galaxy Z Flip7: Design changes, increased battery capacity

The Galaxy Z Flip7 has a tweaked design, expanding the secondary display to 4.1 inches and the main display to 6.9 inches. Both have 2,600 nits of brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The rear camera includes a 50 megapixel main camera and a 12 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. Exynos 2500 processor developed by Samsung, 12GB RAM, 256 or 512GB memory.
Battery capacity increased to 4,300mAh – the highest level ever in the Flip series. The device still has a compact size when folded.
Galaxy Z Flip7 FE: The configuration-lite version

The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE is the first Fan Edition in Samsung's foldable phone lineup. It's similar in design to the Galaxy Z Flip6, with a 3.4-inch secondary display and a 6.7-inch main display. However, the outer display has a brightness of 1,600 nits and a refresh rate of only 60Hz.
The device uses Exynos 2400 chip, 8GB RAM, 128 or 256GB memory. 4,000mAh battery, 25W fast charging. The rear camera cluster still includes 50 megapixels and 12 megapixels, the selfie camera inside is 10 megapixels.
The above devices are expected to be available in the Vietnamese market later this month.
