Speaking with Tri Thuc - Znews , a representative of a Tier-1 dealer of Apple said that this is part of the business agreement between the company and the systems. Accordingly, both sides need to respect each other's distribution plans, including not mentioning rumors, side information or product images and specifications before the pre-order opening date.

This is also a global rule of Apple. However, it can cause difficulties for domestic sellers.

Apple’s competitors often extend the pre-order period when selling. The average is 14 days, some companies open it up to 21-25 days. This period creates space for dealers to “run numbers”, promote, and communicate.

In addition, directly monitoring market reactions and pre-order quantities helps manufacturers and distributors grasp customer trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Meanwhile, the iPhone pre-order period has been maintained at only 7 days for several years now. At the same time, retailers are also limited in early-order programs and product advertising.

Some domestic partners have violated the agreement and launched campaigns before the deadline. Apple responded strongly by cutting off supplies, greatly affecting sales and competitiveness. Therefore, in recent years, this phenomenon has completely disappeared.

At the Awe dropping event, Apple is rumored to introduce 4 iPhone 17 models along with new AirPods and Watch. According to the schedule, the company will sell the main phone line 10 days later, on September 19.
