On August 28, IPTP Networks International Group held the launching ceremony of the AIDC DeCenter Data Center project at Da Nang High-Tech Park.
AIDC DeCenter has a scale of 2 floors, a total area of 10,000m2 , a capacity of 1,000 racks, and a minimum capacity of 10MW. The total investment capital of the project is 200 million USD (of which phase 1 is 20 million USD), and is expected to start construction in early 2026.
AIDC DeCenter is one of the first AI data centers in Vietnam designed according to the Tier 3+/Tier 4 Uptime standard complex model, aiming to become the core infrastructure platform for high performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and cloud computing services.
The project is co-founded and operated by IPTP Networks - a global telecommunications and infrastructure group with over 29 years of experience in the data center industry, and ranked in the world's Top 40 in 2018 (ASRanking) for Internet service providers.
IPTP Networks currently owns infrastructure in more than 70 data centers in 66 cities in 37 countries, serving over 5,000 global enterprise customers.
Sharing at the event, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee, assessed the AIDC DeCenter project as an important milestone for the economic development of Da Nang in general and Da Nang High-Tech Park in particular.
“The successful attraction of data center projects to Da Nang High-Tech Park is a testament to the strong development of Da Nang as a high-tech center of the Central Highlands region.
First of all, it promotes the development of information technology infrastructure, supports stable operation of cloud computing systems, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things, creating a foundation for agencies and businesses to deploy digital solutions, optimize operations, and improve productivity," Mr. Cuong shared.
Meanwhile, Mr. Vladimir Kangin (CEO IPTP Networks) said that AIDC DeCenter is not only a data center but also the first international digital infrastructure ecosystem based in Vietnam.
“I believe that from Da Nang, AIDC DeCenter will become a new technology gateway for Southeast Asia, helping Vietnam seize opportunities and rise strongly in the global infrastructure race,” said Mr. Vladimir Kangin.
