Launching AIDC DeCenter Data Center Project at Da Nang High-Tech Park

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong said that the AIDC DeCenter Data Center project is one of the key projects in the high-tech industry development strategy of Da Nang city.

The project was approved by the Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks for investment policy and investor approval on August 14, 2025 at Da Nang High-Tech Park (Lien Chieu Ward) with a total registered investment of 20 million USD in phase 1 and an expected total investment of the entire project of about 200 million USD.

The project is expected to start construction of the factory in the fourth quarter of 2025 and officially operate from the fourth quarter of 2027. The successful attraction of the Data Center project to Da Nang High-Tech Park is a testament to the strong development and reliable destination of investors in Da Nang, a high-tech center of the Central - Central Highlands region.

The project will promote the development of information technology infrastructure, support cloud computing systems, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things to operate stably, creating a foundation for agencies and businesses to deploy digital solutions, optimize operations, and improve productivity.

In addition, the project also helps increase budget revenue, develop ancillary services and enhance the local position on the global technology map. This is a strategic driving force for sustainable economic growth and national modernization.

It is known that the project is one of the first AI-Ready data centers in Vietnam, designed according to Tier 3+/Tier 4 Uptime standards, aiming to become a core infrastructure platform for high performance computing (HPC), AI, blockchain technology and cloud computing services.

AIDC DeCenter data center has a scale of ^10,000m2 (2 floors), capacity of 1,000 racks and minimum capacity of 10MW. Total investment capital is 200 million USD, of which phase 1 is 20 million USD. The center aims for international certificates such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS... and ensures uptime ≥99.982%.
