Through the event "Luc Ngan Lychee Week in Industrial Parks", Bac Giang province hopes to directly introduce fresh, high-quality lychee products to more than 200,000 workers and the business community working in industrial parks in the province.
This is also a practical activity to support lychee growing households, cooperatives and businesses in expanding domestic consumption channels, thereby gradually forming the habit of consuming local products such as Luc Ngan lychee and other key agricultural products, typical products and OCOP products of the province.
According to the leader of the Department of Industry and Trade, the program has contributed to realizing the goal of connecting agricultural products with the market, especially in industrial zones, where the population is dense, consumer demand is high but has not been fully exploited in agricultural product consumption.
Bustling lychee harvest
At the event, participating businesses and cooperatives were supported by the province with all costs of renting premises and transportation, while ensuring conditions for preserving lychees to keep them fresh when they reach consumers.
The week will last for many days, held alternately at industrial parks in the province, combining direct display-introduction-sales, creating an attractive highlight in the lives of workers.
