Chelsea stunned PSG with a 3-0 win in the FIFA Club World Cup final. This is the second time in the Blues' history that they have won the tournament. They also became the first English club to win the FIFA Club World Cup twice.

Winning the tournament also brought Chelsea a huge bonus. According to estimates, the team earned 116 million USD after winning the title in the US.
Specifically, Chelsea (as well as other teams) received a $40 million entry fee. In the group stage, clubs received $2 million for each win and $1 million for each draw. In addition, clubs that qualified for the round of 16 received $7.5 million.
With a record of 2 wins and 1 loss in the group stage, Chelsea received 11.5 million USD for reaching the round of 16. After victories in the round of 16 and quarter-finals, coach Enzo Maresca's team pocketed 76 million USD for reaching the semi-finals.
After reaching the final, the club will receive an additional $30 million. Finally, the winning team in the final will receive an additional $10 million.
The total prize fund at the FIFA Club World Cup is up to 1 billion USD, of which Chelsea accounts for more than 10% of this prize fund.

Meanwhile, PSG received only $10 million less than Chelsea after losing the FIFA Club World Cup final. The achievements of the Paris club and Chelsea were similar in the previous stages (also won 2, lost 1 in the group stage).
European clubs are set to cash in on the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. The 12 European clubs will receive $623 million in prize money from FIFA, while the other 20 clubs will receive $377 million.
With huge prize money, the FIFA Club World Cup can attract many strong clubs determined to win tickets to participate in the next edition taking place 4 years later.
