Located on a gentle hillside, next to a large lake and surrounded by traditional villages of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups living and working regularly, the Creative Camp is located in the complex of the Cultural - Tourism Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups (Dong Mo, Hoa Lac Commune, Hanoi) is an ideal place for slow-living believers.
Every morning when waking up, the sound of birds chirping, roosters crowing, the sound of Mong flutes or the sound of the Tinh zither echoing from afar... in a quiet space, fresh air, makes every moment extremely valuable to many people when this place is only about 40km from Hanoi .
The creative camp is scientifically planned and designed in harmony with the overall landscape of the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.
The entire project uses a sloping roof covered with red tiles and a facade covered with laterite bricks - a material reminiscent of traditional materials, while also suitable for the climate conditions and typical mountainous landscape.
The total accommodation area includes 3 villas, 3 semi-detached houses with 24 rooms and 2 community houses, capable of serving about 200 people.
The communal house with traditional stilt house architecture has open space under the floor, helping to limit humidity, increase natural air circulation, creating a comfortable, cool feeling all year round.
This design not only preserves the local culture but also meets modern accommodation standards, is environmentally friendly and suitable for long-term stays.
These two community houses meet the needs of collective activities, cultural exchange, organizing seminars, art creation workshops or extracurricular activities for groups such as students, creative artist groups, etc.
In addition, the rooms at the Creative Camp are fully equipped with standard beds, private bathrooms, high-speed wifi...
Each room has windows and balconies facing the lake or mountains, helping guests enjoy maximum natural light and fresh air.
From here, visitors can look out over the large lake or towards the villages of 54 ethnic groups, where 16 ethnic communities live and go about their daily activities.
The outdoor infinity pool area is harmoniously arranged in the natural space, an ideal place to relax after sightseeing, working or playing.
A "valuable" point is that the entire Creative Camp is arranged in a separate, quiet space, ensuring security and privacy but not separated from cultural activities.
Just a few steps away, visitors can participate in vibrant cultural activities taking place in nearby ethnic villages.
Located next to the ethnic minority villages, the Creative Camp is an ideal starting point for visitors to easily access and participate in unique experiential activities: folk song and dance exchanges, traditional festivals, learning about crafts, playing folk games or enjoying regional cuisine.
Coming here, visitors can immerse themselves in folk singing and dancing, singing Then, playing the flute, playing the gong, dancing xoang, and try their hand at folk games such as throwing con, stilts, walking on stilts, swinging on ropes, etc. Those who love traditional crafts can try weaving, knitting, and crocheting nets under the enthusiastic guidance of the locals.
During the market days in the Village, visitors can enjoy traditional dishes such as bamboo-tube rice, grilled meat in bamboo tubes, five-color sticky rice, banh tet, bamboo shoot soup, and can wine... All are made with the love, hospitality, and skillful hands of the children of the mountains and forests.
Therefore, this destination is a convenient place for experts, artists, researchers, and locals to come to work and find creative inspiration from the vibrant ethnic cultural space of the Village.
The creative camp not only meets the needs of receiving, staying and resting tourists and business delegations, but also contributes to completing the chain of activities to explore and experience national culture.
At the same time, this is also one of the connecting items between component projects in the Village, contributing to improving the efficiency of exploiting landscape space and embellishing the cultural and natural values here.
Mr. Trinh Ngoc Chung, Director of the Department of Culture of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups, said that from 2025, the Creative Camp - a new accommodation area belonging to the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village complex will come into operation, marking a new step in the gradual improvement of cultural and tourism services at the "common home" of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.
The creative camp that has been put into operation is a very well-invested area with a beautiful space. The creative area has the purpose and goal of serving artisans and artists who are ethnic minorities to come here to organize creative activities, restore, preserve and promote cultural values to serve the activities of the Village.
The creative camp is also a place for the creation of artisans and artists from ethnic minorities to contribute to the implementation of various political tasks.
Along with that, Mr. Trinh Ngoc Chung said that he will propose a policy mechanism that the Creative Camp will perform additional tasks to serve tourists who want to organize activities here. That is to diversify products to provide the best service for tourists coming to the Village.
“This creative area is currently operating on a pilot basis. In the near future, when we evaluate the overall operation of this activity, we will develop regulations for its operation. We will even propose a form of cooperation with businesses to operate and exploit it to ensure the provision of more professional and best services to visitors to the Village,” said Mr. Trinh Ngoc Chung.
According to the leader of the Department of Culture of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups, putting the Creation Camp into operation is one of the efforts to perfect the space, landscape and services, maximally meeting the needs of tourists with the desire to "keep" tourists staying longer to experience and better understand the unique cultural values that ethnic groups from all over the country are introducing and performing at the Village.
