On the afternoon of July 14, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06, Ministry of Public Security ) announced the handbook utilities on the national identification application (VNeID), artificial intelligence on VNeID and some learning materials on the "Digital Popular Education" platform.
According to C06, the Ministry of Public Security has currently uploaded 6 groups of documents to VNeID, including: 18.7 million electronic driver's licenses; 7 million vehicle registrations; 25 million health insurance cards and electronic health books; more than 1 million marriage status certificates; more than 581,700 criminal records to serve the reduction of file components.
Currently, the Ministry of Public Security has issued 182,100 digital signatures, more than 68,200 e-wallet accounts, more than 635,000 bank accounts, and 2.5 million people have received social security benefits through their accounts with an amount of over VND 24,000 billion. Implementing digital transformation, 78% of people currently receive pensions and social insurance benefits with an amount of over VND 41,000 billion through their accounts (estimated to save about VND 51 billion in travel expenses for people).
According to the representative of C06, in the process of providing comments on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, through the VNeID application, the Ministry of Public Security received over 20 million citizens to participate in providing comments.
Recently, according to C06, this unit has advised the Ministry of Public Security to coordinate with relevant units to build a handbook on VNeID with integrated AI virtual assistant and can look up the list of addresses, headquarters, commune police, commune and ward People's Committees, one-stop public administrative agencies at all levels; at the same time, it is possible to look up the list of administrative procedures at commune and provincial levels and ministries, ministerial-level agencies... Meanwhile, the handbook of commune-level government (developed and issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs ) has also been integrated.
Regarding the learning materials on the "digital popular education" platform, the representative of C06 informed that, up to now, there have been more than 45,200 courses, of which 8,740 courses have been trained for officers and soldiers of Hanoi City Police.
In the coming time, C06 will advise the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to coordinate with the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Cyber Security Association, and Hanoi University of Science and Technology to develop and evaluate the digital popular education software to upload learning materials including: digital transformation for Project 06; information security; driving theory courses; courses on digital competency framework.
C06 representative also informed that to participate in "popular digital education" courses, people can access and log in using VNeID application and study anytime, anywhere...
