On the afternoon of July 14, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06), Ministry of Public Security announced utilities on VNeID and some learning materials on the digital popular education platform.
According to Colonel Ngo Nhu Cuong, Deputy Director of Department C06, the Ministry of Public Security has deployed 43 utilities on VNeID to serve people and businesses well. One of the outstanding new features is the Handbook providing comprehensive instructions on tasks of commune-level and provincial-level units and central departments, ministries and branches with integrated AI.

With this handbook, people and businesses can look up the list of addresses, headquarters, commune police, commune committees, commune party committees, one-stop public administration at all levels, list of administrative procedures, old and new administrative units.
As for the team of commune-level cadres and civil servants, the handbook provides information on the list of decentralization and authority in the fields of ministries and branches, helping commune cadres and commune-level local authorities to implement the Law on Organization of Local Government 2025 and related new legal documents.
According to C06, although it has only been deployed for a short time, the handbook has already had 67,823 users. In addition to being convenient, this feature on VNeID also helps reduce the risk of people and businesses being scammed by taking advantage of information about the new administrative unit arrangement to appropriate assets.
In the coming time, C06 will continue to advise and propose reports to the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to complete the handbook in the direction of providing transparent information on the phone numbers of local police, commune police, phone numbers of the Chairman, Secretary, and departments to receive timely feedback; helping to prevent and reduce the risk of crime.
At the same time, the handbook will be completed and expanded with virtual assistants, providing more and more utilities for people such as: looking up records, administrative procedures, 2-level administrative units; consulting and supporting people in receiving and handling complaints and problems, looking up legal documents and reporting crimes on VNeID.
