Tet Doi is also known as the festival of going down to the fields. This is an important traditional festival of the Muong people in Thu Cuc commune, taking place on the 7th and 8th of January. The festival is imbued with agricultural beliefs, associated with praying for good harvests, praying for blessings and preserving rice varieties, expressing gratitude to nature and ancestors.
The Cocoon Robbing Festival is a long-standing festival, associated with the social life and production habits, activities and fertility beliefs of the ancient Di Nau people. The festival is held from January 4-6.
