Author Do Quang Tuan Hoang attended the event as the main guest, along with two famous Chinese writers: Duong Khac and Tu Tac Than (author who won the Mao Thuan Literature Award, has many works translated into more than 10 languages).
At the exchange held at Chongzuo Teachers' Training College and broadcast live on television, the Vietnamese author introduced the Chinese edition of the book "Vất qua nhung ngan may" (Through the clouds) and shared his journey of discovering the traditional cultural values of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. He emphasized: "Culture will be lost if we do not know how to turn it into assets. But if we pursue profits excessively, culture will also be destroyed. Harmonious development is the only way to maintain sustainability...".
In addition to sharing about writing, the author also encourages young people to develop the habit of reading: “Reading is a hobby that costs little but has great benefits. It could be a character detail that changes the way of thinking, a business idea, or simply a beautiful sentence that makes the soul hum. Read to open up, to grow, to live more deeply with yourself.”

The writer also introduced to Chinese readers the short story collection Fragrance of Ca Mau Forest by writer Son Nam, as a vivid “entrance” to the cultural world of Southern Vietnam. He praised Son Nam as a writer who harmoniously combines literary quality and research spirit, a style that all young writers should learn.
Closing the program, the three writers signed books for readers in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Representative of Chibooks, translator Nguyen Le Chi also presented the book Vietnam Dressed Leisurely to the event organizers. This book is being translated into Chinese and is expected to be released at the end of this year.
Previously, from July 3 to 6, author Do Quang Tuan Hoang interacted with readers in Nanning City within the framework of the China - ASEAN Cultural Book Week. Chibooks said it will continue to organize more exchange programs in China in the near future.
