Working with a group of teenagers throwing rocks at cars on the highway

On the afternoon of July 9, Nam Ninh Hoa Commune Police (Khanh Hoa Province) informed that they had just worked with a group of teenagers who threw rocks at vehicles traveling on the Van Phong - Nha Trang highway, passing through the commune.

Previously, Nam Ninh Hoa Commune Police received a report that a number of cars were running on the Van Phong - Nha Trang highway (near Ninh Tan overpass) when a group of people standing on the overpass threw rocks, damaging the glass and causing traffic safety problems.

On the evening of July 8, the commune police force organized a patrol to control the above area, discovered a group of teenagers gathering on the bridge, so they checked and detained one subject, the rest fled.

Through quick investigation, this person confessed to having participated in throwing rocks at vehicles traveling on the highway on the evening of July 6. Based on the subject's testimony, the commune police invited the related subjects to come in for questioning.

Accordingly, the police identified 7 teenagers (from 11 to 14 years old, all living in Nam Ninh Hoa commune) standing on the overpass, repeatedly picking up rocks and throwing them at vehicles moving below the bridge.

Nam Ninh Hoa Commune Police said that although these acts have not caused serious consequences, they pose serious traffic safety risks to cars running on the highway.
