Specifically, the Provincial Women's Union has just coordinated to organize activities to visit, express gratitude and give gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and children in difficult circumstances. In Hoi Cu commune, the delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Loi, whose only child died in the resistance war.
In a warm atmosphere, the delegation kindly asked about the mother's health and current life. The delegation also presented a gift of gratitude, expressing deep gratitude for the mother's great sacrifice for the cause of national liberation.
Next, the delegation visited the heroic Vietnamese mother Duong Thi Chan in Hau My commune, a place with a tradition of patriotism and heroism in the resistance war. The sincere words of encouragement, emotional eyes and tight handshakes of the delegation and the mothers were a vivid testament to the gratitude and morality of “When drinking water, remember its source” that today’s generations always cherish and continue.
Along with the visit to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, the Association also organized the donation of 12 bicycles and 50 gifts of nutritious milk to disadvantaged, studious children in Cai Be commune. This is an activity that demonstrates practical care and sharing for children, the future generation of the country, especially children in rural areas with many difficulties. Although the gifts are not large in material terms, they have great spiritual value, giving the children more strength to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies and life.
In the context that the whole country is promoting activities towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the visit and gift giving of the Provincial Women's Union is not only a practical action to care for the lives of people with meritorious services and children in difficult circumstances, but also a profound message about traditional morality and social responsibility of cadres, members and women in the new era.
