The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2025 had 5 qualifying rounds with 10 participating teams. As a result, team Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Vietnam team 2) and team Jiangxi Yanfeng - China won the right to compete in the final night with absolute scores from the Jury consisting of representatives of artists, art experts and consulting unit - Global 2000 Company.

According to the Jury, the performances of the two teams Z121 Vina Pyrotech and Jiangxi Yanfeng were assessed as clearly breakthrough, harmoniously combining high technology and distinct cultural identity, while expressing the spirit of the general theme of DIFF 2025: "Da Nang - New Era".
Z121 Vina Pyrotech - also known as Chemical Company 21, under the General Department of Defense Industry, Ministry of Defense - is a veteran in the field of fireworks production and display in Vietnam. With more than 50 years of experience and achievements in major national events, this is the first time Z121 Vina Pyrotech has entered the international fireworks arena at DIFF.
With a modern and creative performance style, rookie Z121 Vina Pyrotech brought the performance "Aspiration to rise" recreating the proud development journey of Da Nang - from heroic memories to aspirations to reach out to the world . The performance was highly appreciated for its fireworks techniques, new and unique fireworks effects, engaging storytelling and profound, emotional music arrangements.
Meanwhile, Jiangxi Yanfeng, also the runner-up of DIFF 2024, returned to the tournament this year with the desire to conquer the highest position. The Chinese team affirmed their class in the third qualifying round with a creative performance called "Journey to the West".
The meticulousness in the layout, along with the technique of controlling the fireworks precisely to the beat of the music, made a strong impression on the audience and the judges. The fireworks display of the Jiangxi Yanfeng team affirmed the mettle of a leading fireworks powerhouse in Asia.
Ms. Nadia Shakira Wong, CEO of Global 2000, the festival's art consultancy, commented that both teams possess outstanding techniques, are rich in emotion and have an impressive ability to tell stories through light. The DIFF 2025 final will be a night not to be missed.
DIFF 2025 is the largest ever with 10 competing teams from Vietnam, China, Finland, England, Portugal, Poland, Korea, Italy, and Canada. Each team brings its own unique colors and cultural stories, seamlessly combining modern fireworks technology and lighting performance art.
The final night of DIFF 2025 will take place on the night of July 12 with the theme "Welcoming the new era". Jiangxi Yanfeng - China will be the first performing team and Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Vietnam will be the second performing team. Each team will receive nearly 7,000 fireworks from the Organizing Committee and create a performance based on the number of fireworks provided. After the announcement, the two teams have about 10 days to prepare for the biggest competition night of the festival season.
The DIFF 2025 award system includes:
- DIFF 2025 Champion: 20,000 USD, Cup and Certificate
- DIFF 2025 Runner-up: 10,000 USD, Trophy and Certificate
- Most Favorite Team Award (voted by the audience): 5,000 USD and Certificate.
In particular, because this year all the competing teams performed impressively and creatively, with quality that is considered superior to previous years, the DIFF 2025 Organizing Committee decided to add the following awards:
- Creativity Award: 5,000 USD and Certificate
- Promising Award: 5,000 USD and Certificate
