On the afternoon of June 29, 2025, the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2025 officially announced the 2 best fireworks teams that will compete in the final night taking place on the evening of July 12, 2025.
Accordingly, with the absolute score from the Jury consisting of artist representatives, art experts and consulting units (Global 2000 Company), team Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Vietnam and team Jiangxi Yanfeng - China won the right to compete in the final night of DIFF 2025.
The decision is made based on the following scoring criteria: originality, design concept and theme of the performance; creativity, variety and richness of effects and colour intensity; choice of music , synchronization between music and performance; ending and quality of the performance; emotion and judges' assessment.
The performances of the two teams Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Vietnam and Jiangxi Yanfeng - China are considered two breakthrough performances, harmoniously combining high technology and distinct cultural identity, while expressing the spirit of the general theme of DIFF 2025: "Da Nang - New Era".

Z121 Vina Pyrotech is known as Chemical Company 21, under the General Department of Defense Industry - Ministry of Defense of Vietnam, is a veteran in the field of fireworks production and performance in Vietnam. With more than 50 years of experience and achievements in important national events, this year marks the first time the team has entered the international fireworks arena at DIFF with a modern and creative performance style.
In its impressive debut, rookie Z121 Vina Pyrotech brought the performance "Aspiration to rise" recreating the proud development journey of Da Nang - from heroic memories to aspirations to reach out to the world. The performance was highly appreciated for its fireworks techniques, new and unique fireworks effects, engaging storytelling and profound, emotional music arrangements.

Z121 Vina Pyrotech's opponent in the final match is Jiangxi Yanfeng - a representative from China and also the current runner-up of DIFF 2024. Returning this season with the desire to conquer the highest position, the Chinese team affirmed their class in the third qualifying round with a creative performance called "Journey to the West".
Using fireworks researched and produced by himself, Jiangxi Yanfeng made a strong impression with its characteristic multi-layered color transition effect, flexible, brilliant and attractive like a mythical film with light. The meticulousness in the composition, along with the technique of controlling the fireworks precisely to each beat of the music, made a strong impression on the audience and the judges.
The Chinese team asserted their class in the qualifying round with a creative performance called "Journey to the West Side Story".
The jury said that the scale of DIFF 2025 is the largest ever, with 10 competing teams from Vietnam (2 teams), Finland, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Poland, South Korea, Italy, Canada, and China. Each team brings its own color, combining fireworks performance art, music, and cultural stories typical of their country. The superiority of many new teams, the unchanging level of experienced teams from previous DIFFs, has made selecting 02 teams to enter the final extremely challenging.
Also at the meeting, the organizing committee conducted a draw for the performance order in the final night. Accordingly, Jiangxi Yanfeng - China will be the first performing team and Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Vietnam will be the second.
In the final competition night of DIFF 2025, each team will receive nearly 7,000 fireworks from the organizers and create a performance based on the number of fireworks provided. With the theme "Welcoming the new era", the final night promises to bring eye-catching performances, demonstrating the vision and aspirations of the city on the Han River.
The final night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2025 will be broadcast live on VTV1 - Vietnam Television at 8:00 p.m. on July 12, 2025.
The DIFF 2025 Champion will receive 20,000 USD, Cup and Certificate. The Runner-up will receive 10,000 USD, Cup and Certificate.
The Most Popular Team (voted by the audience), Creative Award, and Promising Award will receive $5,000 and a Certificate.
