The upcoming iPhone 17 generation is expected to bring many notable improvements, especially in the Dynamic Island area and screen technology. The new interface of Dynamic Island will be called Smart Island, promising a more optimal user experience.
According to leaked sources, iPhone 17 will integrate metalens technology for the Face ID system.
This technology allows the transmitter and receiver to be merged into a single structure, significantly reducing the size and thickness of the components. As a result, the Dynamic Island will become more compact. This technology is also expected to be applied to the next generation iPad Pro and foldable iPad.

In terms of screen, Apple is said to upgrade the screen size of the standard iPhone 17 to 6.3 inches, equivalent to the iPhone 17 Pro version.
This move is expected to increase the appeal of the standard iPhone versions. Although the overall design of the iPhone 17 has not changed much compared to its predecessor, the most anticipated upgrade is the high-frequency 120Hz screen, promising to bring a smoother experience to users.
In addition, the iPhone 17 generation can also be equipped with an improved Ceramic Shield glass coating, with better anti-reflective and scratch-resistant capabilities than previous versions.
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 17 series will be equipped with WiFi 7 chips developed by Apple itself, replacing the current Broadcom chips for WiFi and Bluetooth.
Apple is also researching its own 5G chip and is expected to start using it on its products from next year, with the next-generation iPhone SE possibly being the first device to integrate this "homegrown" 5G chip.

In terms of performance, analyst Jeff Pu revealed that the standard iPhone 17 version will still be equipped with the A18 processor and 8GB of RAM, similar to the iPhone 16 product line.
Notably, the standard iPhone 17 may be released in two new color versions. The purple color on the iPhone 17 is said to have many similarities with the purple color that appeared on the iPhone 11 product line.
Meanwhile, the new green color will be darker and brighter than the green of the iPhone 15, providing more diverse choices for users.
