Vietnam fireworks team makes special impression

The performance of the two teams Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Ministry of National Defense and Jiangxi Yanfeng - China was assessed to have a clear breakthrough, harmoniously combining high technology and distinct cultural identity, while expressing the spirit of the general theme of DIFF 2025: "Da Nang - New Era".
Z121 Vina Pyrotech, also known as Chemical Company 21, under the General Department of Defense Industry - Ministry of National Defense, is a veteran in the field of fireworks production and display in Vietnam.
With over 50 years of experience and achievements in major national events, this year marks the first time the team has entered the international fireworks arena at DIFF with a modern and creative performance style.

Participating in this fireworks festival, Z121 Vina Pyrotech recreated the proud development journey of Da Nang from heroic memories to aspirations to reach out to the world .
The performance was highly appreciated for its pyrotechnics, innovative and unique pyrotechnic effects, engaging storytelling and profound, emotional musical arrangements.
Z121 Vina Pyrotech's opponent in the final match is Jiangxi Yanfeng team - a representative from China and also the current runner-up of DIFF 2024.
Returning this season with the desire to conquer the highest position, the Chinese team affirmed their strength in the third qualifying round with a creative performance called "Journey to the West Side Story".
Using fireworks researched and produced by itself, Jiangxi Yanfeng makes a strong impression with its characteristic multi-layered color transition effect, flexible, brilliant and captivating like a mythical film with light.
The meticulousness in the composition, along with the precise technique of controlling the cannons to each beat of the music, made a strong impression on the audience and the judges.
Two best candidates for the 2025 fireworks season
The jury said the scale of DIFF 2025 is the largest ever with 10 competing teams from Vietnam, Finland, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Poland, South Korea, Italy, Canada, and China.
Each team brings its own color, combining fireworks performance art, music and cultural stories typical of their country.
The superiority of many new teams and the consistent level of experienced teams from previous DIFFs made it very difficult to choose a team for the final night.
"The two finalists not only possess outstanding technical skills, but also demonstrate an impressive depth of emotion and storytelling ability through light," said Nadia Shakira Wong, CEO of Global 2000, the world's leading fireworks consultancy.

Painter Luong Xuan Doan, chairman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and a member of the jury, said that the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival is increasingly becoming an attractive destination for many teams from many countries, and the quality of the competition nights has increased each season.
At 8:00 p.m. on July 12, the final night will take place on the Han River. Team Jiangxi Yanfeng - China will perform first, followed by Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Vietnam.
In the final competition night of DIFF 2025, each team will receive nearly 7,000 fireworks from the organizers and create a performance based on the number of fireworks provided.
With the theme "Welcoming the new era", the final night promises to bring eye-catching performances, demonstrating the vision and aspirations of the city on the Han River.
The DIFF 2025 award system will also be announced right at the final night, including: The DIFF 2025 championship prize includes 20,000 USD, trophy and certificate.
Runner-up prize: 10,000 USD with trophy and certificate; Most favorite team prize (voted by the audience): 5,000 USD and certificate; Creativity prize: 5,000 USD and certificate; Prospective prize: 5,000 USD and certificate.
