The survey results of the Ha Tinh Statistical Office on the production and business situation of enterprises in the processing and manufacturing industry in the province showed that in the second quarter of 2025, the majority of enterprises identified the two biggest difficulties as "high competitiveness of domestic goods" (82% of enterprises identified) and "low domestic market demand" (54% of enterprises identified). These are also the two most important factors affecting the ability of enterprises to develop production and business because Ha Tinh industrial products mainly depend on the domestic market.

50% of processing and manufacturing enterprises said that production and business were better in the third quarter compared to the previous quarter.
In addition, 42% of businesses also assessed that they faced “financial difficulties”. For key industries such as textiles, metal production, electrical equipment production, and beverage production, businesses identified difficulties in domestic and foreign consumption order criteria.
The survey results also show that according to the forecast of processing and manufacturing enterprises, overall production and business activities in the third quarter of 2025 will be better than the previous quarter. specifically, 50% of enterprises assessed that production and business activities have improved and 16.67% of enterprises said that they will remain stable compared to the previous quarter.
Forecasting the trend of production volume in the third quarter of 2025, 60% of enterprises assessed that production and business activities were better than in the second quarter of 2025 and 34% assessed that they will remain stable. In addition, 98% of enterprises said that the trend of orders would increase; 98% of enterprises assessed that costs and labor would increase or remain the same in the third quarter.

Forecasting the trend of production volume of the processing and manufacturing industry in the last 6 months of 2025 in the province, enterprises have more optimistic and promising assessments. specifically, 64% of enterprises believe that production volume will increase and 30% believe that it will be stable compared to the first half of 2025. In particular, 100% of enterprises in the food processing, beverage, apparel, and paper industries believe that output will increase in the coming time.
In addition, 97.7% of enterprises forecast that new orders will increase or remain the same; 91.66% of enterprises expect the export market to expand, orders will increase or remain the same compared to the first 6 months of 2025. To meet increased production needs, 28.57% of enterprises expect to increase the number of workers in the manufacturing and processing industry in the second half of 2025.
