(Baohatinh.vn) - Episode 13 of the program "English Window" season 2 witnessed an exciting competition between two teams from Cam Trung Secondary School (Cam Trung commune) and Phong Bac Secondary School (Ky Xuan commune), Ha Tinh.

In the first round - "Quick Eyes", both teams were impressed by completing 8/10 questions of arranging words into meaningful English words. However, Phong Bac Secondary School team made a breakthrough with 5 correct answers, winning 25 points, while Cam Trung Secondary School team only scored 15 points with 3 correct answers.

In the second round - "Quick Mind", teams demonstrate their presentation skills and critical thinking in English.

Nguyen Thuy Ha, representing Cam Trung Secondary School, delivered a presentation with a positive message about how every student can become an “environmental hero” through small daily actions, such as: reducing plastic waste, saving energy and water, participating in environmental clubs at school, etc. With a complete and confident answer to the questions from the judges, the team scored 29 points, bringing the total score to 44.

Next, the Phong Bac Secondary School team presented the 3R principle (Reduce - Reuse - Recycle) to protect the environment. Thanks to their fluent presentation and rich content, the team also won 29 points, maintaining the leading position with 54 points.

Entering the final round - "Quick Hands", Phong Bac Secondary School team continued to maintain a stable performance with 4 correct answers, raising the total score to 94. Cam Trung team only scored 10 more points, reaching 54 points.

The drama was pushed to its climax with the mysterious crossword question worth 40 points: "Which delta in Vietnam is known as the largest rice granary of the country?". Three girls from Cam Trung Secondary School quickly rang the bell first and gave the correct answer "Mekong Delta", equaling the score with Phong Bac Secondary School.

For the first time in the qualifying round, the two teams had to enter a series of 3 decision supplementary questions. Phong Bac Secondary School excellently answered all 3 questions correctly, earning an additional 15 points.

At the end, Phong Bac Secondary School team won with 109 points and officially entered the quarter-finals.
