Almost every month, dealers have discounts and promotions for car models from direct cash discounts, free body insurance, free registration fees to car loan support with preferential interest rates. These policies have contributed significantly to boosting sales, bringing the purchasing power of this item to good growth since the beginning of the year.
At Toyota Phu Tai Duc Ha Tinh dealership, last June recorded positive growth with the number of cars sold reaching 130 cars. Currently, the number of customers coming to inquire about buying cars is quite large, the dealership is acquiring to reach about 120 - 130 cars this July.
Ms. Le Thi Thu Huyen - Sales Manager of Toyota Phu Tai Duc Ha Tinh dealership said: "Since the beginning of the year, the dealership has continuously run a program to reduce 50% of registration fees and give away body and accessory insurance. In the first 6 months of the year, the dealership sold nearly 600 vehicles, while in the same period in 2024, it only reached 380 vehicles. This July, many attractive programs are also being implemented, such as: support equivalent to 100% of registration fees for Veloz Cross & Avanza Premio models; support equivalent to 50% of registration fees and give away 1 year of body insurance for Vios models; support equivalent to 50% of registration fees for Aris Cross & Corolla Cross models... The target this year is 1,350 vehicles".
While researching to buy a car at Toyota Phu Tai Duc Ha Tinh, Mr. Phan Van Thanh (Tran Phu ward) shared: "I am looking to buy a car worth about 500 - 600 million VND to replace my I10 that I have been using for many years. What I care about most is durability, fuel consumption and maintenance costs. Through research, I am researching the Raize car, which is both within my financial capacity and suitable for my needs."
At Hyundai Ha Tinh dealer, the number of cars sold in the first 6 months of the year reached about 500 cars. Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh - Sales Director of Hyundai Ha Tinh said: In 2025, there will be no more government policy to reduce registration fees. In the context of high competition between brands, dealers have implemented many incentives from popular to luxury cars to stimulate purchasing power, thanks to which the number of cars sold is quite good. Car models with good sales such as: I10, Accent, Tucson, Creta... Currently, many car models are being discounted in cash equivalent to 100% of registration fees, the highest up to 150 million VND. To achieve the target of 1,500 cars in 2025, Hyundai Ha Tinh continues to focus on solutions such as increasing customer access on online channels and directly through test drives, improving customer service quality, customer care after purchasing a car...".
Standing out in the automobile market in the first month of the year is the domestic electric car company VinFast. The shift in consumer trends towards green cars has brought the sales of VinFast Ha Tinh dealer to a standout in the first 6 months of the year.
Mr. Nguyen Nhu Hoang - Sales Director of VinFast Ha Tinh said: "In the first 6 months of the year, VinFast Ha Tinh sold 990 cars, of which the VF3, VF5, VF6 models achieved high sales. Currently, VinFast is implementing many programs such as: "strong Vietnamese spirit" policy reducing 4% of selling price, unlimited free public charging until June 2027, policy of converting gasoline cars to electric cars with support up to 100 million VND. This year, we strive to achieve sales of 2,200 cars".
Owning a VF3 car last June, Ms. Phuong Nhi (Thanh Sen ward) shared: "My family has had a Kia Seltos car purchased since 2022. Due to the need for an additional car to travel in the nearby area to go to work every day and pick up the children, my husband and I chose to buy a VF3 electric car. With a price of less than 300 million VND, the compact car is convenient for traveling, so we are very satisfied".
Car dealers in the area continuously launch promotional promotional programs to stimulate market demand.
According to business units, the positive economic recovery is an important driving force to stimulate increased consumer demand, including the demand for buying "cars". In addition, banks have begun to loosen credit, and loan interest rates have gradually decreased, which is also a positive factor supporting consumers to access car loans more easily. According to preliminary statistics from dealers, in the first 6 months of the year, the number of cars sold in the whole province reached more than 3,400, an increase of about 1,000 cars compared to the same period in 2024.
