This morning (August 27), domestic gold prices simultaneously increased by 300,000 VND/tael and reached 128 million VND/tael. This is the highest level ever.
At 9:00 a.m., the price of SJC gold at Saigon Jewelry Company and Doji Company was listed at 126-128 million VND/tael (buy/sell), while at Phu Quy Company it was announced at 125.4-128 million VND/tael, both up 300,000 VND/tael.
At the same time, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy Company was announced to be from 119.5-122.5 million VND/tael (buy/sell), an increase of 300,000 VND; and at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, it was from 119.8-122.8 million VND/tael, also an increase of 200,000 VND/tael.
This morning, the difference in buying/selling prices is still maintained at a high level by businesses, in which SJC gold fluctuates from 2 million VND/tael, and ring gold is 3 million VND/tael.
In the world, the precious metal fluctuated around 3,387 USD/ounce, up 11 USD/ounce compared to the previous session's close. This price is equivalent to 108.3 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank .
This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 25,273 VND/USD, unchanged from the previous session.
With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank announced the USD exchange rate from 26,146 -26,536 VND/USD, an increase of 6 VND.
BIDV and VietinBank also increased by 6 VND, currently trading from 26,192-26,536 VND/USD (buy/sell).
Eximbank listed from 26,170-26,536 VND/USD (buy/sell), up 10 VND compared to the previous session.
Meanwhile, Vietinbank is trading sideways, currently trading at 26,145-26,505 VND/USD (buy/sell)./.
