Reading the eulogy at the ceremony, Mr. Le Truong Son, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, said that in August 2025, Team K72 expanded the search and recovered 30 remains of martyrs who died at Loc Ninh airport and Phuoc Son commune. All 30 remains of the martyrs this time have not been identified by name, age, or hometown. The few remaining relics are only bottles of essential oil, a belt, a flask, a pair of rubber sandals, a hammock, a tank, and weapons. The remaining remains have blended into the soil. Fortunately, there are 13 biological samples that meet the conditions to send for DNA identification.
"From these few biological samples, along with the work of collecting DNA samples of unidentified martyrs' relatives that is being carried out nationwide, we hope to find the martyrs' relatives, bringing comfort and alleviating some of the loss and pain for the martyrs' families," Mr. Le Truong Son emotionally shared.

Also according to Mr. Le Truong Son, from 2002 to present, members of Team K72 (Dong Nai Province Military Command) have made great efforts to overcome many difficulties, searched thousands of locations and recovered 3,953 remains of martyrs who died in the war through different periods in the country and neighboring Cambodia for burial at the provincial Martyrs' Cemetery (including 3,242 sets of martyrs' remains collected in Cambodia and 711 sets of martyrs' remains collected in the country).
“The Fatherland and the people will forever remember the heroic martyrs’ contributions. The Party Committee, government, army and people of Dong Nai province pledge to be absolutely loyal to the Party’s goals and ideals, and to worthily inherit the glorious revolutionary cause of the heroic martyrs. May the martyrs rest in peace,” emphasized Mr. Le Truong Son.
