Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment pointed out some difficulties in the management and exploitation of irrigation works and centralized water supply.

The province currently has 624 centralized rural water supply works in operation, providing clean water for daily life to 186,504 households. However, according to the Rural Water Monitoring and Evaluation Index, the rate of sustainable operation of works is only 27.08% (169/624 works). Meanwhile, the number of inactive works accounts for a fairly high rate, with 47.76% (298/624 works).

The Department of Agriculture and Environment also pointed out some difficulties in management and exploitation. Notably, the fact that many entities are involved in exploiting irrigation works and centralized water supply makes it difficult to unify the operating model and ensure compliance with regulations.
