Lam Dong urgently completes official housing for officials, civil servants and public employees

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh inspected the renovation and repair project of official housing in Lang Biang Ward - Da Lat.

Accompanying the delegation were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Ngoc Hiep, representatives of the Department of Finance and related units.

The delegation directly inspected the actual locations such as: No. 26 Ba Thang Tu Street, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat; No. 2 Nguyen Du, Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat; B1 Dormitory area on Nguyen Hoang Street and the headquarters of Ward 7 People's Committee (old), Lang Biang Ward - Da Lat.

According to the plan, Lam Dong province will arrange public housing at 34 facilities with a total area of nearly 30,000 ^{square meters} for officials and employees working at departments, branches and Party agencies of the province.

After the inspection, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh requested the units to speed up the progress, ensure the quality and safety of construction, so that the project can be completed on schedule. This is an important basis to stabilize the lives and working conditions of officials and civil servants after being transferred to the provincial center. Thereby, contributing to consolidating the organization and personnel of state agencies after the reorganization of the provincial administrative apparatus.

According to the report of the Department of Finance, as of August 20, the total number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in need of accommodation was 1,296 people. Of which, the first phase of accommodation was arranged for 287 people and the second phase was arranged for 931 people.

Thus, up to now, local facilities have ensured accommodation for 1,218 people. The number of people who have registered for accommodation but have not yet been arranged is 78 people. As of August 27, 15/34 public housing for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers has been renovated and repaired.

At the meeting, representatives of relevant departments and units proposed to arrange the working headquarters of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies in a new, more suitable location. The current headquarters is small and not enough to work and receive party members coming to contact for work. Representatives of the Inspection Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee also proposed to arrange more working rooms for cadres currently working at the grassroots level to come to the headquarters to work...

In his concluding remarks at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh welcomed the efforts of the Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments, branches and units in reviewing, planning, calculating, arranging and implementing projects to repair and renovate public housing for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that, in a short time, relevant units carry out renovation and repair projects as quickly as possible. In fact, a number of projects have been completed and handed over to officials to receive public housing for living.

Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh also requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant units to make efforts to complete public housing areas to ensure the best possible living and eating conditions so that cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers can work with peace of mind.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested departments, branches and units to continue construction of project works, ensuring the quality and progress as set. At the same time, review each public housing area, arrange gates, fences to ensure security, and suitable parking areas for motorbikes and cars.

In addition, it is necessary to arrange some suitable common areas within the premises of the official residence. Fire prevention and fighting measures must be implemented in accordance with regulations. The environmental landscape must be renovated soon, with more flowers and trees planted in the official residence areas. In particular, it is necessary to fully and strictly implement the procedures for basic construction according to regulations.

Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh also requested that units specifically review each room and official apartment according to area and amenities to allocate appropriately to cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers who have registered their need for official housing.

Renovation and repair of public housing is being urgently implemented.

In particular, research on the management and operation of public housing areas when there are cadres, civil servants and public employees living there, ensuring security and internal living regulations for each housing area. At the same time, continue to review a number of locations to continue repairing and renovating into public housing in the coming time.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial People's Committee to review and create conditions for the Party Committees of the Provincial Party Agencies to arrange their working headquarters at the headquarters of the Party Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Agencies Bloc (old); study and arrange the headquarters of the Provincial Investment Promotion Center at a suitable location, meeting the operational requirements and performing the assigned tasks.

Some renovation and repair projects of public housing have been completed and are ready for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers to move in.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assigned the archive at the former Da Lat City Administrative Center to the Provincial Party Committee Office to be used as a repository for Party documents and history. At the same time, the construction items of the Da Lat City Administrative Center project (old) must be completed soon to promptly conduct liquidation and settlement according to regulations and hand over to the management and use units.

In addition, research and arrange for the Provincial People's Court to borrow a temporary office for work in the coming time; review, research, and calculate the arrangement of working locations of other agencies in the working block at the Administrative Center of Da Lat City (old) to suit the actual situation.

Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh hopes that in the coming time, relevant departments and units will continue to make efforts, overcome difficulties, and complete projects. Thereby, helping agencies have stable workplaces, and cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers who have registered for social housing will soon receive rooms and houses, and feel secure in their work.
