Releasing 6 wild animals to Vu Quang National Park

(Baohatinh.vn) - After releasing wild animals into the natural environment, Vu Quang National Park (Ha Tinh) will continue to monitor and protect them to ensure safety.

Rare wild animals of Group IIB are released into the wild.

Vu Quang National Park has just coordinated with relevant agencies to release 6 palm civets ( scientific name Paguma larvata) back into the natural environment.

This is a rare wild animal belonging to Group IIB. These palm civets were previously handed over by Huong Son Forest Protection Department to Vu Quang National Park for care.

After a period of careful care, the palm civets are able to survive in the natural environment.

After being released into the natural environment, Vu Quang National Park will continue to monitor and protect to ensure safety.

It is known that since the beginning of the year, Vu Quang National Park has received 35 wild animals from units and people inside and outside the province. These animals will be released back into the natural environment by the unit when conditions are met.

Mr. Nguyen Danh Ky - Director of Vu Quang National Park said: "The release of 6 palm civets into the natural environment is a testament to the continuous efforts of the park and functional units in biodiversity conservation. Vu Quang National Park is proud to be home to many rare animal species and each time we return an individual to the natural environment is a great success, contributing significantly to the protection and sustainable development of the ecosystem here. We will continue to monitor closely to ensure they integrate safely and develop healthily in their new habitat."
