* At Ben Gia Prison (Hamlet 2, Truong Long Hoa Ward) under Department C10, Ministry of Public Security, the Ceremony to Announce the Second Amnesty Decision in 2025 took place.

The leaders of Ben Gia Prison announced Decision No. 1693/QD-CTN, dated August 29, 2025 and Decision No. 1728/QD-CTN, dated August 31, 2025 of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on amnesty in 2025 (phase 2) for 14,020 prisoners. Of which, Ben Gia Prison has 119 prisoners enjoying amnesty this phase.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Truc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the People's Procuracy of Vinh Long province said that during their time of study and reform, these 119 prisoners had complied with the camp's rules and regulations. Hopefully, after returning to their families, the prisoners will comply with the laws and regulations of the local government, so that they can soon reintegrate into the community and have a better life.

* Chau Binh Prison (Binh Khuong Hamlet, Chau Hoa Commune) announced the decision to grant amnesty for the second phase in 2025 to 158 eligible prisoners.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Van Dong - Warden of Chau Binh Prison affirmed that amnesty is a humane and lenient policy of the Party and State for prisoners; requested that when returning to their families and society, they continue to comply with the guidelines, policies, laws of the State and regulations of the local government where they reside.
