Ho Chi Minh City adjusts traffic to serve fireworks display to celebrate National Day September 2

To ensure safety and serve people enjoying fireworks, traffic on some central city routes will be adjusted from 7:30 p.m. on September 2 to 0:30 a.m. on September 3.

According to the announcement from PC08 Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police, the fireworks display program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the 80th anniversary of the Saigon Uprising to seize power (August 25, 1945 - August 25, 2025) will take place at 3 locations: the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (An Khanh ward), the center of the New City ( Binh Duong ward) and the Back Beach Central Square (Vung Tau ward). The display time starts from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2.

To ensure traffic order and safety, Department PC08 announces:

Saigon River Tunnel Head Area (from 7:30 p.m. September 2 to 0:30 a.m. September 3)

Prohibit vehicles from entering the following routes:

- Le Loi Street (from Pasteur Street to Dong Khoi Street).

- Nguyen Hue Street (section from Le Thanh Ton to Ton Duc Thang).

- Dong Khoi Street (section from Mac Thi Buoi Street to Ton Duc Thang Street).

- Ton Duc Thang Street (from Le Duan Street to Khanh Hoi Bridge).

- Vo Van Kiet Street (section from Pasteur Street to Khanh Hoi Bridge underpass).

- Ngo Van Nam Street (section from Nguyen Sieu Street to Ton Duc Thang Street).

- Nguyen Sieu Street (from Ngo Van Nam Street to Ton Duc Thang Street).

- Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (section from Hoang Dieu Street to Khanh Hoi Bridge).

- Ham Nghi Street (from Pasteur Street to Ton Duc Thang Street).
