Collision between passenger bus and truck on highway, many people hospitalized

On the evening of September 1, Khanh Hoa 115 Emergency Center informed that it had taken 13 victims of a traffic accident at the toll station on the Van Phong - Nha Trang highway to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for treatment.

Previously, at around 2:35 p.m. the same day, the Center received a report from local residents about a collision between a passenger bus and a truck at the toll station on the highway, injuring many passengers on the bus.

The center quickly checked the information, determined the location, activated the emergency rescue system, mobilized two 115 emergency teams and contacted support from neighboring medical centers.

By 4:00 p.m. the same day, 13 victims had been safely taken to the hospital and are currently being examined and treated.

According to the police, the accident scene damaged two vehicles, fortunately there were no casualties. Authorities are working with relevant agencies to investigate the cause of the accident.
