Support level for voluntary social insurance participants from July 1, 2025

The Government issued Decree No. 159/2025/ND-CP detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Social Insurance (SI) on voluntary SI. The Decree stipulates that voluntary SI participants will receive State support for contributions at a percentage (%) of the monthly voluntary SI contribution according to the poverty line for rural areas as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 31 and Clause 1, Article 36 of the SI Law. The support period shall not exceed 10 years. The Decree takes effect from July 1, 2025.
