Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh inspects Hoa Lien expressway project

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and the Government's working delegation No. 1 inspected the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway construction project (connecting with La Son - Tuy Loan Expressway) through Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city.


On March 13, the Government's Inspection Team No. 1 led by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh inspected the construction progress of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway Project in Hoa Vang, Da Nang city.

Also participating in the working delegation were Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Viet Hung, leaders of Da Nang City People's Committee and representatives of the Ministry of National Defense.

According to information from the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board (the project investor), the La Son - Tuy Loan Expressway (Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan section) has a total length of more than 11.5 km, passing through the communes of Hoa Lien, Hoa Son, Hoa Nhon of Hoa Vang district. The project has main items including 2 interconnecting traffic intersections, 11 bridges, 8 underpasses, 62 culverts of various types, 2 parallel service roads (total length of more than 20 km). The total investment for the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway Project is more than 2,100 billion VND from the State budget.

The project started construction in September 2023 and is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in November 2025. At this point, site clearance for the project has been basically completed. The parallel service road has completed 19.43 km/20 km.

Reporting to the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister and the working delegation, Chairman of Hoa Vang District People's Committee Phan Van Ton committed to completing site clearance this March to hand over to the construction parties.

Recognizing and appreciating the efforts of the Project investor, construction units, especially the efforts of the Hoa Vang district government (Da Nang) in site clearance for the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh requested the Da Nang City People's Committee to find solutions to remove obstacles to have an additional 200,000 m3 of stone for construction (as reported by the Project investor at the site), and to soon complete site clearance to ensure the Project is completed on schedule and with quality.

Inspection Team No. 1 is one of 7 working groups established by the Government to review and remove difficulties and obstacles for key transport projects scheduled to be completed in 2025. Inspection Team No. 1, headed by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, will inspect the following expressway projects: Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan, Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon, Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh.
