Man clings to hood after car crash, driver still revs engine and runs away

After a traffic collision on a street in Ha Tinh, the driver of car 30A – 140.89 sped away, leaving the 53-year-old man clinging to the hood.

On June 14, the Traffic Police Department of Ha Tinh Police coordinated with other units to work with those involved in the case of a driver who sped away after a traffic collision despite the man clinging to the hood of the car.

At about 11:25 a.m. the same day, a red car with license plate 30A - 140.89 driven by Mr. S. (born in 1953, residing in Tan Giang ward, Ha Tinh city) collided with a car with license plate 38A - 574.xx driven by Mr. Th. (born in 1972, residing in Huong Son district) on Hai Thuong Lan Ong street, Bac Ha ward, Ha Tinh city.

After the collision, the two drivers got out of the car and argued about who was right and who was wrong. However, a moment later, Mr. S. drove away from the scene. At this time, Mr. Th. stood in front of Mr. S.'s car.

However, the red car driver continued to accelerate, forcing Mr. Th. to hold on to the hood of the car. After driving nearly 100 meters, driver S. stopped the car. The incident happened on a crowded street, causing many people to be upset.

After the incident, the Traffic Police Department of Ha Tinh Police coordinated with other units to investigate.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
