Pepper prices today in key growing areas have fallen sharply compared to yesterday. As a result, the domestic pepper price level is from 140,000 VND/kg to 145,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, pepper price today in Dak Lak decreased sharply by 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 145,000 VND/kg.
Pepper price today in Gia Lai is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 140,000 VND/kg.
Pepper price today in Dak Nong decreased sharply by 7,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 140,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, pepper price today in Ba Ria - Vung Tau is currently at 141,000 VND/kg, down 4,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Dong Nai decreased 4,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday at 141,000 VND/kg.
In addition, pepper price today in Binh Phuoc decreased by 4,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 141,000 VND/kg.

Pepper price today 4/7 in the world market
In the world market, based on quotes from export enterprises and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Community (IPC) has updated the prices of pepper of all types traded in the international market on July 3 (local time) as follows:
Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices increased slightly compared to yesterday at USD 7,539/ton (up 0.17%). In addition, Muntok white pepper prices increased slightly compared to yesterday at USD 10,184/ton (up 0.17%).
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices were unchanged from yesterday at $6,050/mt.
Malaysia's ASTA black pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,000/ton. Meanwhile, the country's ASTA white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $11,750/ton.
Prices of all types of pepper in Vietnam remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Of which, the price of Vietnamese black pepper 500 gr/l reached 6,240 USD/ton; 550 gr/l reached 6,370 USD/ton.
Similarly, Vietnam's white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $8,950/ton.
Agricultural exports increase sharply, Vietnam - US reach new trade agreement
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment said that in the first 6 months of 2025, the total import-export value of Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and fishery products is estimated to reach 57 billion USD.
Of which, agricultural exports reached about 18.3 billion USD, up 16.8% over the same period. Notably, 9 out of 11 commodity groups maintained growth momentum, including coffee, rubber, pepper, cashew nuts, livestock, seafood, wood and wood products.
At 9:25 p.m. on July 2 (Hanoi time), US President Donald Trump announced on the social network Truth Social that he had just reached a new trade agreement with Vietnam. He called this a major step forward in cooperation between the two countries. According to the agreement, Vietnamese goods exported directly to the US will be subject to a 20% tax, while transit goods will be subject to a 40% tax.
Previously, General Secretary To Lam had a phone call with President Donald Trump to discuss bilateral relations and the issue of reciprocal taxes between the two countries. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the positive developments in Vietnam-US relations in recent times.
During the meeting, General Secretary To Lam and President Trump welcomed the results of negotiations between the two delegations and agreed on a Joint Statement on the Framework for a Reciprocal, Fair and Balanced Trade Agreement. President Trump appreciated Vietnam's commitment to opening its market to US goods, especially large motor vehicles.
He also affirmed that the US will significantly reduce reciprocal taxes on many Vietnamese export products, and pledged to continue cooperation to remove trade obstacles between the two countries, especially in priority areas.
