Previously, at 10:45 a.m. on July 1, 2025, Dong Kinh Ward Police presided over and coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Lang Son Provincial Police while on duty on Ba Trieu Street, Dong Kinh Ward, discovered and caught red-handed Luong Xuan Thanh, born in 1991, residing in Lane 651, Ba Trieu Street, illegally possessing drugs.
The police seized from the subject a plastic bag containing 3 pink tablets and white crystals, a mobile phone and some related evidence.
Expanding the investigation, the Provincial Police Investigation Agency executed an emergency detention order against Lang Dinh Tung, born in 1991, residing in block 1+2, Dong Kinh ward, for illegal possession of drugs.
On the same afternoon, the police force urgently searched Nong Van Tam, born in 1994, residing in Khon Khuyen village, Dong Kinh ward, for illegal drug trafficking while he was staying at Thien Phu motel (Thac Ma 2, Dong Kinh ward).
The seized exhibits included 5 plastic bags containing 536 pink tablets, 9 blue tablets and white crystalline substance; 1 electronic scale; 2.3 million VND in cash and some related exhibits.
Nong Van Tam
During the investigation, Tam confessed that he bought the synthetic drugs for personal use and retail sale for profit. Previously, Lang Dinh Tung and Luong Xuan Thanh had pooled money to buy drugs from Tam for personal use.
The case is currently under further investigation and will be handled in accordance with the law.
