In Lam Dong province, coffee prices decreased by 400 VND/kg compared to yesterday and are at 94,700 VND/kg.

Domestic coffee prices today decreased slightly due to selling pressure on the international market and investors' cautious sentiment in the face of global economic instability, along with unfavorable weather forecasts in major coffee growing regions. The market is currently waiting for clearer signals to determine the upcoming trend.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in the first 6 months of 2025, Vietnam's coffee export turnover reached 5.5 billion USD, nearly double that of the same period in 2024 (2.7 billion USD) and exceeded the total export value of the whole year of 2024 of 5.4 billion USD. This is the first time the coffee industry has achieved such a high turnover in just the first half of the year, while completing the export target for the whole year early.
This strong growth comes from large orders from key markets such as the US, EU, Japan, Korea and China. In particular, the industry has focused on boosting exports of deep-processed coffee, specialty coffee and instant coffee, segments with high value and large profit margins.
Based on current results, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment forecasts that coffee export turnover in 2025 could reach 7.5 billion USD, an increase of about 37% compared to 2024. This is considered a record growth rate of the Vietnamese coffee industry in the context of the world market still having many unpredictable fluctuations.
World coffee prices today
Coffee prices on the world market increased slightly on two floors:
Robusta Coffee (London):
Delivery September 2025: Up 67 USD/ton, to 3,669 USD/ton.
November 2025 delivery: Up 57 USD/ton, to 3,608 USD/ton.
Arabica Coffee (New York):
September 2025 delivery: Up 0.4 cents/lb, to 291.6 cents/lb.
December 2025 delivery: Up 0.55 cents/lb, to 285.9 cents/lb.
World coffee prices continued to fall today, mainly due to increased supply pressure from major producing countries such as Brazil and Vietnam. In addition, technical factors and cautious market sentiment also contributed to the deeper price decline.
On the ICE Futures exchange, Arabica coffee prices fell about 1-1.4%, reaching a seven-month low. Robusta prices also fell 1-2%, hitting a low for the week. The main reason was a sharp increase in supply at a time when Brazil was entering its peak harvest period.
Coffee inventories on international exchanges are also rising. Arabica inventories on ICE reached their highest level in nearly five months, while Robusta inventories continued to rise. This development reinforced concerns about oversupply, causing many investors and businesses to sell to take profits, creating further downward pressure on coffee prices.
In the short term, if the weather in major producing regions such as Brazil remains favorable and inventories remain high, global coffee prices could fall further. However, unexpected factors such as extreme weather, geopolitical tensions or fluctuations in the USD exchange rate could still change market trends.
