Naval Brigade 131: Successfully completed 6-month mission...

On the morning of June 18, the 131st Engineering Brigade (Navy) held a Military-Political Conference for the first 6 months of 2025. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tran Nam, Brigade Commander chaired the conference. Colonel Ngo Van Duc, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Brigade, disseminated the leadership resolution.

In the first 6 months of 2025, Brigade 131 has thoroughly grasped the directives and resolutions of the superiors, and the orders of military and defense work. The Brigade has focused on deploying and performing many tasks with increasingly high requirements in a dispersed environment, completing the tasks well. Maintaining strict combat readiness, handling situations well to avoid being surprised, training work is carried out according to plan, schedule, and achieving good results.

Agencies and units in the entire Brigade have had many positive changes, especially in the work of building discipline, training discipline, building a bright, green, clean and beautiful unit landscape. The Brigade has done a good job of receiving and training new soldiers with good results; Construction of military works achieved an efficiency of 175% / month. Organizing reserve mobilization training; participating in joint training in Truong Sa; deploying mine and explosive clearance to ensure safety with high results. Participating in activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 / April 30, 2025). Successfully organizing the 17th Brigade Party Congress, term 2025-2030. 100% of officers and soldiers are mentally secure, strictly follow discipline, and the unit ensures safety.

Concluding the conference, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tran Nam requested agencies and units to thoroughly grasp the leadership resolution of the Brigade Party Committee to carry out tasks for the last 6 months of 2025; in which, focus on improving qualifications and combat readiness; continue the task of building absolutely safe works; focus on doing well the preparation work for the 50th Anniversary of the Brigade's Founding Day (November 6, 1975 / November 6, 2025).
