Dai Ninh Hydropower Plant with a total capacity of 300 MW has been put into operation since 2007. After 18 years of operation, equipment defects are inevitable. Therefore, the Company always determines that checking and evaluating the current status of equipment is a core task, especially equipment such as generators, transformers, circuit breakers... which are considered the "heart" of the generator set.
In recent years, the Company has increasingly applied the Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) method, condition-based maintenance (CBM), combined with online monitoring systems and specialized measuring equipment such as thermal cameras and contact resistance meters to continuously monitor important operating parameters. This not only helps to detect abnormalities early but also optimizes maintenance costs and extends equipment life.
Along with technology investment, the Company pays special attention to training and experience sharing. Technical seminars held quarterly are an opportunity for engineers and workers, from experienced to young workers, to share practical lessons from detecting and handling defects that have been detected and handled before.
In addition, the Company has actively coordinated with units in EVNGENCO1 and other factories to exchange experiences, build a data library on maintenance and repair, propose damage scenarios and solutions, and proactively prevent similar incidents in the future.
In the coming time, the Company continues to aim to improve the readiness of the unit, prolong the life of the equipment, and ensure a stable and safe power supply for the national power system. To do that, a proactive spirit, a meticulous working attitude and a sense of risk prevention will continue to be the guiding principle for all technical activities at the factory.
The work of inspecting, monitoring and promptly handling equipment problems and defects at Dai Ninh Hydropower Company is becoming more and more in-depth and professional.
Thanks to the synchronous implementation of solutions, in the first 6 months of 2025, the Company did not record any incidents on the equipment system. This is the clearest evidence of the efforts and sense of responsibility in performing technical tasks, and also demonstrates the cultural value of "Solidarity - Dynamism - Efficiency" that the Company's officers and employees have been building together.
