Festival of propaganda, dissemination and legal education for youth in the Northwest mountainous region in 2024

On the morning of June 25, at the Provincial Political School, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Youth Solidarity Committee, the Central Propaganda Department of the Youth Union, Lao Cai Provincial Police, and the Youth Unions of Son La, Lao Cai, Dien Bien , Hoa Binh, Yen Bai, and Lai Chau provinces to organize a festival to propagate, disseminate, educate the law, and promote drug prevention and control among youth in the Northwest mountainous region in 2024.

Attending the Festival were comrade Nguyen Kim Quy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Central Youth Solidarity Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union; representatives of the Central Youth Union's departments and units, the Central Youth Union of Vietnam, the Vietnam Youth Academy; representatives of departments, branches and sectors of Lao Cai province; functional departments of Lao Cai Provincial Police; representatives of 6 Youth Union units in the cluster and a large number of union members and young people in the area.

The 2024 festival of propaganda, dissemination,education of law and propaganda on drug prevention and control among youth in the Northwest mountainous region is a coordinated activity between the Police force and the Youth Union at all levels in legal education, propaganda on drug prevention and control, aiming to maintain and promote the vanguard spirit of union members and youth in awareness and action in denouncing and fighting against all types of crimes in the Northwest region.

The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags and flowers to the teams participating in the Festival.

At the same time, this is an opportunity for the provinces and cities of the Northwest mountainous region to exchange, learn experiences, improve their skills in propaganda, dissemination, legal education and drug prevention and control propaganda among youth and people.

The Festival was attended by 6 teams representing 6 Youth Union units in the Northwest mountainous region including: Son La, Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Hoa Binh, Yen Bai, Lai Chau.

The teams brought 6 skits revolving around the content of drug prevention among teenagers; accompanying young people to reintegrate into the community; preventing human trafficking; preventing high-tech crimes... The skits were elaborately staged, performed by non-professional actors but were still very attractive to viewers.
