Binh Thuan Provincial Leaders Visit Truong Sa

BTO-From May 5 to 10, 2023, the Military Region 7 working delegation was led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, member of the Party Central Committee and Commander of the Military Region.

Binh Thuan province had Comrade Phan Van Dang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nam, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee; Comrade Nguyen Phu Hoang, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association and Lieutenant Colonel Tran Dong Thanh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command visited and encouraged cadres, soldiers and people on Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 Platform.

During the voyage of nearly 1,000 nautical miles, ship KN-290 of Fisheries Surveillance Squadron No. 2 brought the delegation to visit officers, soldiers and people on Sinh Ton Dong, Len Dao, Da Tay C, Truong Sa islands and DK-1/11 (Tu Chinh) rig.
At the islands and platforms, the units reported to the working group about regularly welcoming and supporting Binh Thuan ships and fishermen to fish in the management area, providing fresh water, food, first aid, medical examination and treatment, and storm shelter.
This creates a solid foundation for fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea.
Here, comrade Phan Van Dang and members of the working delegation met and encouraged, gave gifts and informed the situation of Binh Thuan province in the past time to the cadres and soldiers who are children of Binh Thuan province and are honored to join the army and people of the whole country to protect the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland.
The officers and soldiers of Binh Thuan promised the provincial leaders to always overcome difficulties and unite to complete their tasks well. This is not only the honor and responsibility of each officer and soldier, but also represents the army and people of Binh Thuan joining hands to firmly protect the sea, islands and continental shelf of the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the leaders of Binh Thuan province presented many gifts to the units on the island and 30 officers and soldiers from Binh Thuan who are on duty on Truong Sa, Sinh Ton Dong, Len Dao, Da Tay C islands and DK1/11 rig.
