(QNgTV) - Faced with the unsatisfactory retail growth and the need to adjust to new administrative boundaries, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requested localities to urgently stabilize their apparatus, accelerate the implementation of solutions to develop the domestic market and stimulate consumption according to Directive 08.

According to Directive 08, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requires localities to seriously review factors affecting the domestic market, proactively remove difficulties, strongly implement trade promotion activities and stimulate consumption, especially in industries with slow consumption such as: garments, household appliances, means of transport, food services, and at the same time promote support for businesses and business households to switch to digital platforms, contributing to modernizing the system of distributing goods to consumers.

The Ministry also requested localities to quickly develop plans and implement market stabilization programs, connecting supply and demand in the late 2025 and Lunar New Year 2026, fully prepare plans to reserve essential goods during the rainy and stormy season, ensure stable supply and prices; strengthen communication and promotion of domestic goods, support brand building for legitimate businesses to strengthen market confidence, especially in the context of many cases of poor quality goods of unknown origin recently discovered.
