Regarding the incident, the school principal received the information, suspended the teacher and transferred the student to a different class to ensure her mental health. Nguyen Van Troi Primary School also established a disciplinary committee to consider disciplining the teacher.

"According to the Department of Education and Training's viewpoint, we must handle this seriously to build a happy school and minimize conflicts. The Department Director has also given very clear instructions on this matter," Mr. Ho Tan Minh emphasized.

Also at the press conference, the chief of staff of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that since the beginning of the school year, the Department of Education and Training has issued a plan to build school culture. Specifically, on the afternoon of October 4, after returning home from school, K. said that her hand was sore. The parent observed that K.'s right hand was swollen, and she said it hurt a lot. After being questioned by her parents, K. said that her homeroom teacher, Ms. NTS, had beaten her with a musical instrument on the back of her hand on the morning of October 4 in class.
