On the evening of July 10, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province solemnly held a ceremony to announce and receive the Certificate of ranking the Po Nagar Tower as a special national monument and the national intangible cultural heritage of Khanh Hoa Agarwood Exploitation and Processing Knowledge.

Attending the ceremony were: Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Quoc Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Long Bien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Also attending the ceremony were Mr. Trieu The Hung - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture andEducation ; Mr. Dang Van Bai - Vice Chairman of the National Cultural Heritage Council; Mr. Nong Quoc Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Cultural Heritage (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism); along with dignitaries, prestigious people and a large number of people and domestic and international tourists.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Nam reviewed the history of the formation of Po Nagar Tower and the profession of exploiting and processing agarwood in Khanh Hoa. Thereby, he expressed the honor and pride of Khanh Hoa people when Po Nagar Tower was ranked as a special national monument by the Prime Minister according to Decision No. 152, dated January 17, 2025; The knowledge of exploiting and processing agarwood in Khanh Hoa was included in the List of national intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Decision No. 1651, dated June 3, 2025. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Nam requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to continue researching, advising and proposing to the Provincial People's Committee specific contents and solutions to contribute to preserving and promoting more effectively the typical and unique traditional cultural values ​​of Khanh Hoa province associated with the special national relic of Po Nagar Tower and the national intangible cultural heritage of Khanh Hoa Agarwood Exploitation and Processing Knowledge.

At the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh and Mr. Trieu The Hung presented the Certificate of National Special Monument ranking of Po Nagar Tower and presented congratulatory flowers to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Dang Van Bai and Mr. Nong Quoc Thanh presented the Certificate of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Knowledge of Agarwood Exploitation and Processing of Khanh Hoa Agarwood and presented congratulatory flowers to the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Khanh Hoa Agarwood Association.

Along with the ceremony of announcing and receiving the ranking and certificate, the ceremony also featured a special art performance with the grand scene "Legend of the Motherland" and the song and dance program "Pride of a thousand-year cultural heritage", performed by 170 artists, singers, actors, musicians from the Khanh Hoa Traditional Arts Theater and folk artists.
