
In his opening speech, Chairman of the Vietnam Advertising Association Nguyen Truong Son, co-head of the contest's organizing committee, affirmed: In the era of digitalization and global integration, advertising and communication is no longer just a profession but is becoming the art of storytelling.
The Vietnam Creative Advertising Award 2025 aims to continue to effectively implement the Project on building and promoting the national brand: "Vietnam Creative Advertising Award" for the period 2020 - 2030. In addition, the contest also honors outstanding collectives and individuals in the advertising industry who have had excellent advertising ideas and products, positively influencing the community and society; imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity, thereby demonstrating the position and potential of the Vietnamese advertising industry; affirming the important contribution of the advertising industry in the cultural development strategy.
The award sets many criteria for the products entered. Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) Ninh Thi Thu Huong noted that the contest does not limit creativity but must be consistent with the contest and legal regulations for advertising products. In case of abuse to present inappropriate messages, images, content; not consistent with products, goods, services; not consistent with the quality, features, uses of products, goods, services, not consistent with the contest rules.
According to the Organizing Committee, advertising products participating in the Contest must serve the advertising needs of organizations and individuals operating in Vietnam, and have economic and social significance. Contest products must be products that have been posted on the media from September 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025; are legal products, not related to copyright or ownership disputes. Each organization or individual can submit one or more products to the contest, with no limit on quantity. The Organizing Committee will judge and select awards from September to November 2025; organize a summary and award ceremony (expected in Ho Chi Minh City) in December 2025.
The award structure includes: The highest prize is the "Best Advertising Award". Along with that, there is 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize for each main advertising type: Television advertising; outdoor advertising on billboards and signs; advertising on electronic newspapers, social networking platforms. In addition, the Organizing Committee also gives many special awards to outstanding organizations and individuals who have made positive contributions to the competition and the advertising industry.
