Domestic pepper price

Pepper prices today in key growing areas remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Accordingly, the domestic pepper price level is from 140,000 VND/kg to 142,000 VND/kg.

In the Central Highlands region, pepper price today in Dak Lak remained unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 142,000 VND/kg.

Pepper price today in Gia Lai is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 140,000 VND/kg.

Pepper price today in Dak Nong is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 141,000 VND/kg.

In the Southeast region, pepper prices today in Ba Ria - Vung Tau are currently at 140,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Dong Nai is unchanged from yesterday at 140,000 VND/kg.

In addition, pepper price today in Binh Phuoc is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 140,000 VND/kg.

Pepper price today July 10 in the world market

In the world market, based on quotes from export enterprises and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Community (IPC) has updated the prices of pepper of all types traded in the international market on July 9 (local time) as follows:

Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $7,547 per tonne. Meanwhile, Muntok white pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $10,195 per tonne.

Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,225/ton.

Malaysia’s ASTA black pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $8,900/ton. Meanwhile, the country’s ASTA white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $11,750/ton.

Prices of all types of pepper in Vietnam remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Of which, the price of Vietnamese black pepper 500 gr/l reached 6,440 USD/ton; 550 gr/l reached 6,570 USD/ton.

Similarly, Vietnam's white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,150/ton.

Brazilian pepper exports increase sharply in the first 6 months of 2025, Vietnam is the largest market

According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spices Association (VPSA), citing Comexstat data, in June 2025, Brazil exported 5,758 tons of pepper, earning 66.4 million USD. Compared to the previous month, output decreased by 44.4% and turnover decreased by 43.2%. However, compared to the same period last year, exports increased by 8% in volume and increased sharply by 64.4% in value.

The US was Brazil's largest import market in June with 1,134 tonnes, followed by Vietnam with 808 tonnes, India with 743 tonnes, Senegal with 450 tonnes and Morocco with 440 tonnes. The average export price in the month reached US$6,547 per tonne, up US$135 from the previous month.

By the end of June 2025, Brazil's total pepper exports reached 49,761 tons, with a turnover of 309.7 million USD. Compared to the same period in 2024, output increased by 33.8% and turnover increased sharply by 118.6%.

Vietnam is the largest market for Brazilian pepper, reaching 17,563 tons, accounting for 35.3% of total exports, up nearly 200% over the same period last year. Other major markets include the UAE, India, Senegal and Morocco. The average export price in the first 6 months of the year reached 6,224 USD/ton, up 63.4% over the same period in 2024.
