Because of love
Mr. Le Luu Dung was born in Trieu Lang commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province (now Trieu Co commune). After graduating from university, he participated in a project of Cologne Zoo with the aim of preserving nature and ecosystems in Phong Nha-Ke Bang.
Perhaps, his love for nature and passion for discovery also started from here. Therefore, after finishing the project, Mr. Dung decided to stay and work at an adventure travel company in Phong Nha with the desire to develop himself and gain experience. But with each passing day, he loves this land more and more and always desires to be able to contribute more of himself to the conservation of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang World Natural Heritage.
In 2012, Mr. Dung decided to quit his job to build his own path. In 2014, he opened a small homestay called Jungle Boss homestay and then established Jungle Boss Company Limited. Mr. Le Luu Dung shared: “That time was really difficult for me, the economic pressure, the living environment of a person far from home and I always wondered if I could succeed or not? It was my belief in the people of Phong Nha and my passion for exploring nature that was the only motivation for me to stay and try.”
With his own efforts and those of his companions, Mr. Dung has overcome difficulties and achieved many successes in developing tourism in Quang Binh. His company has exploited tourism products such as Ha Ma Da valley - Tra Ang cave, Pygmy cave - Tiger cave... In 2021, the Jungle Boss team discovered the Kong sinkhole, creating a strong transformation for the company. Since then, the company has welcomed many tourists who love adventure travel and exploring nature to experience.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai was born in Trieu Trach commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province (now Trieu Binh commune). After graduating from university, he was accepted to teach at a high school, but because of his passion for discovering new and different things, he decided to go to Quang Binh to work for a foreign project. In 2012, he noticed that the trend of "Western backpackers" coming to Phong Nha was increasing but there were few options for accommodation, food, etc., so he decided to switch to service business. After many difficulties, he continued to stay and stick with his love for Quang Binh tourism. With his own efforts, he is currently the Director of ECOFOOT Company Limited and operates a restaurant serving tourists.
“The combination of the rich history, culture and majestic nature of the new Quang Tri will create attractive, highly competitive destinations that attract diverse tourist segments. We can easily build unique inter-regional tourism products, extend the length of stay of tourists and create more accompanying services to increase revenue. Besides, there are also many challenges to face, requiring tourism businesses to constantly innovate and improve the quality of products and services to be able to survive and develop in the new competitive environment,” said Mr. Le Luu Dung. |
When two hometowns come together
Many tourism products are effectively exploited by Jungle Boss Company Limited.
The new Quang Tri province was officially established. This is the crystallization of two lands rich in cultural and revolutionary traditions, where there is much potential and prospect to promote the socio-economic development. Sharing in that common joy, the children of the new Quang Tri homeland seem to be empowered to join hands to build their homeland to become more and more beautiful and rich.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai proudly said: “Quang Tri (old) where I was born, Quang Binh (old) where I grew up, both my hometowns owe a lot of gratitude. Now that the two hometowns are under one roof, I feel very proud and lucky because from now on I can dedicate and give my wholehearted and deep love to my hometown.”
Mr. Hai said that he has traveled and lived in many places, each place has its own characteristics, but between Quang Binh-Quang Tri (old) there are many similarities in culture, life, natural conditions... Therefore, the two provinces merge, people can easily get along, unite, opening up many new opportunities. Especially, in the field of tourism, tourism products will be more abundant, attractive, creating connections and sustainable development.
His passion for exploring nature has connected Le Luu Dung with the tourism industry.
According to Mr. Le Luu Dung, in addition to the famous tourism products that the company has exploited in Quang Binh (old), he also exploits some products in Hue, Lam Dong. In particular, with the hope of bringing a new breeze to tourism in his beloved homeland of Quang Tri, he has made efforts to survey and get a license to exploit the tour program "Phong Huong Du Ky 2 days 1 night".
In June 2025, Jungle Boss continued to receive the approval of the Provincial People's Committee to exploit Ta Du eco-adventure tourism, a new project that he has cherished for a long time. As someone with 10 years of experience in the field of adventure tourism, Mr. Dung clearly understands that the merger of the two provinces will open up a multi-dimensional picture with both promising opportunities and significant challenges.
Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Phuong Bac Urban Development Joint Stock Company Nguyen Anh Tuan shared: “I myself feel a bit nostalgic about what is familiar, the unique values of Quang Binh or Quang Tri in the past.
