Visitors mainly concentrate on weekends, the occupancy rate of accommodation establishments always reaches 70-90%. While on weekdays from Monday to Wednesday, visitors are quite deserted, the occupancy rate is only about 40-50%. Faced with this reality, the tourism industry has proactively implemented stimulus solutions, implementing preferential packages for accommodation, dining, and sightseeing services during the week to attract tourists to Quang Ninh.
Ms. Tran Thi Lieu, Deputy General Director of Royal Ha Long Hotel, shared: When participating in the stimulus program, the units responded in unison, proactively linking closely together to bring visitors valuable experiences and the most reasonable prices. The unit is offering many incentive programs for visitors such as afternoon tea parties, giving vouchers to use services at the unit with deep discounts from 10-35%. The ship owners also pay special attention to improving service quality, bringing satisfaction to tourists. Mr. Tran Van Hong, Head of Ha Long Tourist Ship Association, shared: With the quality of steel-hulled ships being built in series and put into use, it has contributed to improving quality and bringing the best experience to tourists.
